Kroger and Pepsi are giving employees the extra perk of getting discounts on soft drinks. According to Business Insider, Pepsi will offer Kroger Associates all Pepsi 20 ounce soft drinks for only $1. Flyers at Kroger stores said employees “inspire us all during these extraordinary times.” An employee at Kroger said: “It's a little silly I suppose, but it's generally a harmless sign of support." Kroger staff also receive a “hero” bonus of a $2 hourly wage increase.
