Kenya is making new face masks in the fight against COVID-19

New face masks are being made in Kenya to help stop people contracting coronavirus.

Made at Wekelekha Vocational Training Centre in Bungoma, Kenya, the masks are a product of a licence and certification from Rivatex.

The company claims the masks are reusable after sanitising, addressing the financial challenge Kenya is facing with paying for disposable ones. The masks will be distributed for free.
