Matthew Schenk: Career Overview

Matthew Schenk is a visionary leader with a strong background in K-12 education and administration. He believes that our best investment in the future is in education, so he passionately advocates for students, teachers, and educational stakeholders at all levels.

Matthew Schenk is a graduate of Grand Canyon University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. He then attended Northern Arizona University and received his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. For his doctoral degree, Matthew attended Arizona State University. In addition to his degrees, Dr. Schenk also holds numerous educational certifications.

Matthew Schenk has spent many years working in K-12 education. He worked as a teacher and as an assistant principal for Peoria Unified School District for eight years. He then moved on to work as a school administrator for Cave Creek Unified School District. Among his responsibilities as an administrator, Mr. Schenk directly supervised staff, managed day-to-day operations, and assisted in the selection of personnel. He was also in charge of setting goals, implementing high standards, and equipping teachers with resources to meet those standards.

In addition to his K-12 background, Matthew Schenk has also worked at the university level. He served as an academic associate for Arizona State University for two years. As an academic associate, Mr. Schenk taught a few courses each semester. These courses ranged from the undergraduate level to doctoral level courses. For each class, Dr. Schenk customized instruction to meet the needs of his students while providing guidance throughout the semester.

Currently, Matthew Schenk serves as a Senior Consultant for Radiant Learning, which is a higher education preparation organization. As a Senior Consultant, Mr. Schenk works with schools in the US, Canada, and China. These schools include higher education institutions, K-12 language immersion schools, as well as schools seeking different types of accreditation. His work often involves travel. He frequently visits schools in China, Canada, and has also visited Mexico in the past.

Matthew Schenk is committed to training educational leaders to hire and train teachers who are passionate about education, as well as to their own personal and professional growth. He believes that these educators must then be provided with authentic capacity development to teach today’s students. Mr. Schenk will never stop working tirelessly to support students and educators around the world.
