ब्रिटिश जियोलॉजिकल सर्वे ने दुनिया के कुछ देशों के भूगर्भ वैज्ञानिकों के साथ मिलकर कुछ अहम जानकारी जुटाई है। सामने आया है कि कोरोना वायरस की वजह से पूरी दुनिया में लगाए गए लॉकडाउन की वजह से ध्वनि प्रदूषण कम हुआ है। इसकी जांच लंदन, पेरिस, लॉस एंजिलिस, बेल्जियम और न्यूजीलैंड में थॉमस लेकॉक के यंत्रों और तकनीक से की गई। इस जांच से पता चला है कि लॉकडाउन की वजह से हमारी धरती कंपन कम हो गया है। इन सभी जगहों पर ऐसी ही रीडिंग मिली है।
