Countries around the world have now reported more than one-million coronavirus cases as the pandemic continues to grow.
This latest updeated number comes from Johns Hopkins University on Thursday, which also said the virus is currently in more than 180 countries.
The global death toll has also surpassed 51-thousand, a figure predicted by the World Health Organization just two days ago.
The number of COVID-19 cases in South Korea is approaching 10-thousand.
As of Thursday, local health authorities confirmed eighty-nine more cases, bringing the total infections to nine-thousand nine-hundred 76.
Two more deaths have been reported in Daegu, men in their 50s and 60s...taking the death toll to one hundred-73.
Imported cases are also on the uptick in South Korea...the total at some 600 right now.
