Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav seems to be softening his uncle Shivpal Yadav. The Samajwadi Party has decided to withdraw the petition of the progressive Samajwadi Party chief and MLA Shivpal Yadav for termination of membership of the assembly. In this regard, on behalf of SP, Leader of Opposition Ram Govind Chaudhary has written a letter to Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit, requesting him to withdraw the petition.

समाजवादी पार्टी प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव अपने चाचा शिवपाल यादव पर नरम पड़ते दिख रहे हैं. प्रगतिशील समाजवादी पार्टी के प्रमुख और विधायक शिवपाल यादव की विधानसभा की सदस्यता समाप्त करने की याचिका को समाजवादी पार्टी ने वापस लेने का फैसला किया है. इस संबंध में सपा की ओर से नेता प्रतिपक्ष राम गोविंद चौधरी ने विधानसभा अध्यक्ष हृदय नारायण दीक्षित को पत्र लिखकर याचिका को वापस लेने की गुहार लगाई है.
