Two heroic neighbours rescued a boy hanging from a second-floor balcony's guardrails in southern China.

In the video, shot in the city of Luzhou in Sichuan Province on September 28, 2019, a man climbed onto the guardrails on the first floor to push a boy hanging from the second-floor balcony back to safety.

According to reports, the man ran upstairs to knock the door of the boy's flat but no one answered after he spotted the incident.

He then went to the lower floor's flat and pushed the boy's feet up with the help of the flat owner.

The boy's mum reportedly went shopping and left her son home alone.

Fortunately, the boy only suffered minor scratches.
