A truck plunged into parked vehicles after trying to avoid a boy running across a road in China.
The dashcam video, provided by local police in the county of Chongyi in Jiangxi Province on February 26, shows a boy suddenly running across a road, so the truck driver swerved to try and avoid the child.
However, the driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brake by mistake, causing the truck to smash into other vehicles.
A woman in a red shirt just managed to escape being hit by the oncoming truck.
Several cars and motorbikes were damaged and the boy suffered minor injuries and was sent to hospital.
The case is being investigated, reports said.
