ಪುತ್ರಿಯ ಅದ್ದೂರಿ ವಿವಾಹದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಚಿವ ಬಿ. ಶ್ರೀರಾಮುಲು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಂತೆ ಮದುವೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ವಿವಾಹದ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು 9 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 27 ಗುರುವಾರದಿಂದಲೇ ಮದುವೆಯ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದ್ದು, 9 ದಿನ ಸತತವಾಗಿ ಮದುವೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ.
