Javed Akhtar has tweeted about the Delhi violence in which he has questioned the police action. In fact, Javed Akhtar has questioned the Delhi Police that in the violence many people's houses were burnt and many people died, but why only one person (Tahir) shop was sealed.

गीतकार जावेद अख्तर देश के ज्वलंत मुद्दों पर काफी मुखर होकर अपनी राय रखते हैं। अब उन्होंने दिल्ली हिंसा पर भी अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी है....जावेद अख्तर ने दिल्ली हिंसा को लेकर ट्वीट किया है जिसमें उन्होंने पुलिस की कार्रवाई पर सवाल उठाए हैं। दरअसल, जावेद अख्तर ने दिल्ली पुलिस पर सवाल दागा है कि हिंसा में कई लोगों का घर जला और कई लोगों की जानें गईं , लेकिन सिर्फ एक व्यक्ति (ताहिर) की ही दुकान क्यों सील हुई।
