Footage shows the city's first pop-up toilet in Place des Abbesses in the city's 18th Arrondissement on February 12.
The product - aptly named "UriLift" - created by the Pop-Up Toilet Company made a stunning debut in the French capital.
It's an effort to "improve the living environment of residents and Parisians living near festive places," said Paul Simonden - the assistant in charge of waste management for the city.
The elevating toilet arises at 7 pm until the morning when it returns underground to clean itself.
