Heavy Rain, Mudslides Kill 8 in Bolivia

Heavy rains caused the flooding of rivers in the departments of La Paz, Santa Cruz, Potosi, Beni, and Cochabamba y Tarija. According to reports, about 250 families have been affected by the downpour. Local media reported that mudslides leveled at least 50 homes. In the aftermath, desperate residents scoured their destroyed homes for belongings.
