Delhi Election 2020: What is the political equation of Babarpur. Babarpur assembly seat falls under the North East Delhi Lok Sabha seat. AAP leader Gopal Rai defeated BJP veteran and four-time MLA Naresh Gaur in the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections. Whose reward was also given to Gopal Rai and he got a place in Kejriwal cabinet.

बाबरपुर विधानसभा सीट उत्‍तर पूर्व दिल्‍ली लोकसभा सीट के अंतर्गत आती है। 2015 के दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव में इस सीट पर आम आदमी पार्टी के नेता गोपाल राय ने बीजेपी के दिग्गज नेता और चार बार के विधायक नरेश गौर को हराया था। जिसका इनाम भी गोपाल राय को मिला और उन्हें केजरीवाल कैबिनेट में जगह मिली.
