Girl students in south India were sent into a panic when seven-foot snake was seen crawling into their hostel gallery and washroom.
The girls of Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, first sighted the snake around 10:00am on January 18, and immediately informed the hostel warden about the snake .
The warden immediately called the forest department to rescue the snake, which entered washroom area and could be seen trying to slither up the mirror and walls.
Forest department took around an hour and half to rescue the snake, catching it at around 11:30am. The snake was then released into the jungle once more.
