"TSUNAMI" is the 44th single released by Southern All Stars. It was released in two formats, 8cm CD and LP. The LP was produced in an orange star shape. It was their last single released in a 8cm CD format. The single reached #1 on Oricon charts, charted for 57 weeks, and sold 2,886,940 copies in 2000, becoming the #1 single of that year. Since it's release the single has sold around 2,936,000 copies, becoming the third best selling single of all the time in Japan (#1 J-Pop single).
