How to Add Missing 'Lid Open Action' from Power Options in Windows 10?
Step 1: Click on the 'Search Box,' and then do a search for 'cmd' without quotes.
Step 2: Right Click on 'Command Prompt' App, and then click on 'Run as Administrator.'
Step 3: Type the below command, and then hit 'Enter' key on the keyboard.
powercfg -attributes SUB_BUTTONS 99ff10e7-23b1-4c07-a9d1-5c3206d741b4 -ATTRIB_HIDE
Step 4: Now, Open 'Control Panel,' and then click on 'System and Security.'
Step 5: After that, Click on 'Power Options,' and then click on 'change plan settings' next to your selected plan.
Step 6: Click on 'Change Advanced Power Settings.' After that, scroll down to 'Power Buttons and Lid,' and then expand it by clicking on '+' button.
Step 7: You can now see 'open lid action' option there.
