Reference: In the early hours of February 17, 1994, Fructuoso Alvarez Gonzalez, a Spaniard married to a cousin of the Bagnato family, set fire to the two-storey villa because Matías's father had not returned money he had lent him. Matías Bagnato was the only survivor of what journalism called the "Flower Massacre".
