Multiplayer Adventure Mode works the same as multiplayer Classic Mode and All-Star. Again, there are some circumstances where it doesn't work.
I used Master Hand and Crazy Hand to do this for 3 reasons:
1. Player 5 is Crazy Hand since only 4 players are used (except for stage 11, which crashes)
2. Only 4 human players were intended. The only way to control Players 5 and 6 is to use the hands.
3. The game crashes if any character except Player 1 is modified unless they are the same character, or use one of the hands.
Stages 1, 3, 5 (the team Kirby stage) 7, 10, 11, and 12 crash since the game doesn't know what to do with Crazy Hand, who is the 5th player.
For unknown reasons, the warning sound effect stops playing on the Brinstar escape stage as if it were a VS. mode match.
For Corneria, I used a code to lower the Great Fox ship to make the hands spawn properly, rather than below the stage. This is why the Great Fox doesn't appear during the Corneria adventure mode intro. You can also see a loop effect that happens.
Team battles are enabled during the entirety of Adventure Mode. This is why the hands don't damage each other. After testing this with the other controller ports, it turns out that the teams for players that aren't normally used is set to red.
