Some websites tell that Elvis was on drugs during that evening. It is not my opinion. Indeed, if we except some marihuana taken during the 1950’s and only one experience on LSD with Priscilla in the 1960’s, Elvis never did drugs in the 1970’s. I better should say that he was under the effect of his medical prescriptions.
Elvis didn’t act differently during every show that he did during that September-October 1974 tour. You can hear it in the FTD release "Dragon Heart", recorded on October 1st 1974 in South Bend, Indianna...
I still wonder why some fans still don’t accept that Elvis acted sometimes like Jim Morrison or Serge Gainsbourg !
