Looking across modern day Circus Maximus, I'm not sure what some people expect, but I suppose it's not a green park (used also for many rock concerts).
Palatine hill, that features the ancient ruins of Roman emperor's villas, is the birth place of Roman mythology. Romulus and Remus were supposed to have been raised in a cave by a she-wolf on Palatine hill.
