Protests demanding release of Baba Jan resurface in Pakistan

Lahore, Pakistan, December 10, 2019: - Students from Gilgit Baltistan and PoK joined a student protest in Lahore to demand immediate release of political activists, including Baba Jan and his accomplices, who have been incarcerating in jail for around nine years. Baba Jan is serving a ninety-year sentence he was handed based on trumped-up charges. He is one such activist who challenged the then Pakistani administration which was essentially working against the people of Gilgit Baltistan.
