Tear gas fills air above protest in western French city of Nantes

French police have fired tear gas at protesters in the western city of Nantes on Saturday.

Footage showed clouds of tear gas in the air close to the prefecture where thousands of people were protesting against French President Emmanuel Macron's controversial retirement reforms.
