Dozens of protesters occupied department store Macy's in New York City on Tuesday (December 3) as part of a protest to demand better access to transport for disabled people.

The protest, which was organized by People's Power Assembly, started in Herald Square, marched through Macy's, and into Penn Station demanding of the MTA fair treatment for the disabled.

Protesters carried signs reading "disabled lives matter" and "disabled not disposable".

December 3 is the annual observance of the International Day of Disabled Persons.
