Maisie Peters is at the Troubadour before her show and Hollywire's Jana Rosenberg is there chat with her! Maisie talks to us about her recently released EP "It's Your Bed Babe, It's Your Funeral". She breaks down the meaning behind the title and PUMPED all the fans get to sing along with the song "This Is On You". We also chat with her about artists that inspire her and artists that she's written with. Hollywire favorite, Lauv, being one of them. We would LOVE a Lauv and Maisie Peters collab!

Maisie Peters found her career beginning the same way many other big names in the industry did, by positing videos of herself singing on YouTube. Maisie began writing her own music at just the age of 12 years old, building a portfolio of music for her to share on her YouTube channel. Maisie describes herself and her original music with a genre of “Emo Girl Pop”. Masie found herself playing in a band with school friends and preforming in her own in local pubs in her hometown. Commonly compared to Birdie and Taylor Swift, she was signed with Atlantic Records within three years of making her YouTube channel.
The British singer and songwriter made her debut with her single “Place We Were Made” which quickly became viral, passing over a million streams. Since then, Maisie had had multiple singles reach over between 24 to 56 million streams including songs, “Favourite Ex”, “Worst of You”, “Feels Like This”, “Best I’ll Every Sing” and “Stay Young”. Maisie Peters is making a name of herself in the industry with only more hits to come.
