19-year-old man shot in Queens and attempted to run in apartment building

A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg and attempted to run into an apartment complex at the Astoria Houses in Queens, New York around 10 p.m. on Monday (November 25).

One suspect was detained and is believed to be the shooter. A weapon was found on the next block and search is still on for a second suspect, according to reports. Police requested an ambulance be rushed to the scene and the condition of the victim is still unknown, according to reports.
