Harrison Ford to Appear on
TV for First Time in 26 Years.
According to an exclusive report by ‘Variety,’
Harrison Ford may soon be starring in the
first regular television role of his career. .
He is reportedly attached to
the upcoming scripted adaption
of ‘The Staircase,’ which was
originally released in 2004. .
The docuseries will retell the trial of
Michael Peterson, an American novelist
accused of murdering his wife in 2001. .
In addition to acting, Ford will also be an executive
producer on the project alongside Antonio Campos,
who will also serve as series writer. .
According to ‘Variety,’ the docuseries,
produced by Annapurna Television, is
currently being “shopped around” to
streaming services and networks. .
If picked up, ‘The Staircase’ will be Ford’s first
appearance in a scripted series since his cameo
on ‘The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles’ in 1993.
Representatives for Ford and Campos have yet to
release a statement confirming or denying the project.
