Fucino, a plateau in Italy controlling the world

Fucino (Italy), Nov 22 (EFE).- Satellite control of Brazil's oil platforms and the broadcast on international television of a football match in Argentina are some of the services offered by the Italian satellite control centre in Fucino, the largest in the world for civilian use. It is the 'Piero Fanti' Space Centre of the company Telespazio - a company controlled 67% by the Italian defence and aerospace company Leonardo, and 33% by the French company Thales.
