A COUPLE have dramatically transformed their appearances into a modern day Dracula and vampire princess. Victoria Lovelace, 30, who is originally from Sweden but resides in LA, met her now-fiancé Dracul Grotesque, 36, three years ago. Victoria calls herself a magical vampire princess from Sweden and works as a Gothic and alternative model. Victoria said she became interested in Gothic fashion since she was a teenager and started embracing her style by combining her passion for both history and fashion. Victoria told Barcroft TV: “I always wanted to look different from everybody else and my style is my self-expression.” Victoria spends almost two hours every day perfecting her look. Her make up routine includes a temporary skin whitening cream as, according to her, she loves “to look pale like a vampire.” Her fiancé Dracul, who works as a multi-instrumental musician, told Barcroft TV: “I always try to go for more of a demonic look. She [Victoria] is very beautiful and I always try to go for an uglier look. Ugly like a distorted picture or like a non-perfect human.” Dracul said his passion for Gothic style has emerged from horror movies and his love for metal music. The couple met when Victoria performed with a band at one of LA’s night clubs in 2016. Shortly after, the couple started dating and decided to get married. Speaking of criticism they face as a couple, Victoria said: “People stare but I think, here, in LA, is a little bit better than where I came from.” However, her fiancé argued: “I'm more like on the obscure side so I don’t really get such nice comments.” The pair say that they don’t consider themselves as real-life vampires, but their fashion styles are mainly influenced by vampires and horror movies. Victoria, who got permanent fangs a couple of years ago, told Barcroft TV: “I’ve always been obsessed with the vampire aesthetics and always dreamt of never getting old.”
