PM serves up pasties on visit to Wells
Boris Johnson continued his election campaign in a bakery in Wells, serving up sausage rolls and pasties to customers. The prime minister was originally supposed to visit a bakery in Glastonbury, but this was disrupted by Extinction Rebellion protesters. When asked about the protest he said; "There were lots of crusties there - more crusty than your loaves." His visit to Wells was met with a mixed reaction by locals, some cheering and shaking his hand whilst others heckled him. Report by Thomasl.
