Here's a new version of the Did You Know? concept that puts the current explosion of Internet threats into perspective that everybody can understand. This version includes facts and stats on the growth of malware (collective term for Viruses, Worms, Trojans and related threats) and the growing losses sustained by individuals at the hands of Internet fraudsters. For example, estimated US cyber-crime losses in the USA over the past two years are about equal to the annual mortgage payments of almost 500,000 American households.
