John McDonnell has said the Gross Domestic Product statistics released by the Office for National Statistics today are "worrying". The figures showed GDP increased by 0.3% between July and September, which Mr McDonnell called "the slowest growth in a decade". The Shadow Chancellor added that "no one can be pleased with these figures" before voicing his "worries about what Labour will inherit when they go into government". Report by Thomasl.
