The High Court has ordered former prime minister Najib Razak to defend himself against all seven charges in relation to SRC International Sdn Bhd.

The decision came as a shock to Najib, who expected to be acquitted on all seven charges.

His lawyer Muhammad Shafee Abdullah also said the defence team was confident that Najib would be acquitted on all seven charges, instead of being ordered to enter his defence.
