Sir Lindsay Hoyle elected Speaker of the Commons

Sir Lindsay Hoyle has been elected as Speaker of the House of Commons, replacing John Bercow in the role. Sir Lindsay, who has served as Deputy Speaker since 2010, won the fourth and final round of voting 325– 213 against Labour Party colleague Chris Bryant. Report by Thomasl.
