BCCI President Sourav Ganguly thanked captain Virat Kohli after the confirmation of day-night test match, to be held in Kolkata. It will be the first day-night Test to be played in India. "I'm extremely honoured that Eden Gardens will host the inaugural day-night Test match. I thank Bangladesh Cricket Board President and his team for accepting our request on such short notice. I also thank India Captain Virat Kohli for his co-operation," Ganguly was quoted as saying by ANI.

आखिरकार भारत में डे नाईट टेस्ट मैच का आयोजन होने जा रहा है. बांग्लादेश क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने डे नाईट टेस्ट मैच को लेकर हामी भर दी है. 22 नवंबर को कोलकाता के ईडन गार्डेन में पहली बार डे नाईट टेस्ट मैच का आयोजन होगा. साथ ही टीम इंडिया पहली बार पिंक बॉल से क्रिकेट खेलेगी. इसपर बीसीसीआई अध्यक्ष सौरव गांगुली ने विराट कोहली समेत बीसीबी को धन्यवाद कहा है. डे नाईट टेस्ट मैच पर सहमति जताने के बाद सौरव गांगुली ने अपने बयान में बड़ी बात कही है.
