A sunbeam snake was captured eating a radiated rat snake in Thailand.

Chattaphon Linnak found the two snakes fighting near his house in Saraburi, central Thailand in the morning of October 8.

Footage shows how the sunbeam snake began devouring a radiated rat snake after defeating it in a fight.

Chattaphon said that he was amazed to see the sunbeam snake trying to eat a larger snake.

He said: "Today the small sunbeam snake was bold enough to win the fight and eat the bigger snake."
