"1789: The Lovers of the Bastille" is a French Musical of 2015 by Dove Attia and Albert Cohen, on music by Rod Janois, Jean-Pierre Pilot, Olivier Schultheis, William Rousseau and Dove Attia.
In the spring of 1788 the kingdom of France is ravaged by hunger, but the court of Louis XVI at Versailles spends without paying attention. The people began to revolt and soon the revolt grew larger.
In the torment of the French Revolution, the two lovers will live an idyll as beautiful as it is forbidden, they will know the most crazy and romantic intrigues, all accompanied by the greatest figures of the Revolution like Georges Jacques Danton, Maximilien de Roberspierre or Camille Desmoulins.
