Assembly of world's longest arch bridge gets underway in southern China

The first components of what is expected to be a record-setting arch bridge were hoisted in place southern China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on October 12, 2019. The 3rd Pingnan Bridge is expected to measure 575 metres (1,886ft) when it starts carrying traffic by the end of 2020.
