Team up with Umno and PAS? We are a multiracial country, says Dr M

Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said that Malaysia is a multiracial country that has had cabinet members from different races.
He said this in response to a question on Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan who had urged the prime minister, to pull Bersatu out of Pakatan Harapan and team up with Umno and PAS for the sake of Malay unity.
Mohamad Hasan had asked if Mahathir was willing to sacrifice his position and interests so that the power of Malays/Muslims in this country could be restored.
