Mahabaleshwar: India’s Wettest Place

For the second year running, rainfall in Maharashtra’s Mahabaleshwar has surpassed Cherrapunji in Meghalaya which has long been called the wettest place on earth. Since June 1, Mahabaleshwar has received 5,485 mm rain.
