There was a question in everyone's minds as soon as the Colors party began last night: Will Kapil Sharma join the channel in their revelry?
It was answered only five hours later when the lights dimmed. Kapil had chosen to stay away.
Ditto for all his team members- Dadi (Ali Asgar), Guthi (Sunil Grover), Paaji (Navjot Singh Sidhu) and Palak (Kikku Sharda)- barring one, Mrs Kapil Sharma (Sumona Chakravarti), who played his wife in Comedy Nights with Kapil.
