If there's anyone who can teach Seth Rogen how to hit all the high notes for his singing debut in Disney's live-action adaptation of The Lion King, it's definitely Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer. In this exclusive clip, the Grammy Award winner and the legendary film composer coach Rogen as he and costar Billy Eichner record "Hakuna Mataka" for their roles as everyone's favorite duo, Timon and Pumba.
"It's crazy, Pharrell just helping me sing," Rogen says in the clip. "It'd be like if you couldn't ice skate for a movie and they were like, "Don't worry, Wayne Gretzky will be helping you."
Despite any need for assistance, Rogen and Eichner's work as the iconic duo brought plenty of laughs throughout the photo-realistic reboot of the beloved 1994 classic. Featuring a star-studded cast with some serious vocal talent, the movie which went on to surpass the long-standing record held by Frozen and become the highest-grossing animated film of all time. Fans will be able to experience the magic all over again when The Lion King is digitally released on Oct. 11 and physically released on Blu-ray and DVD on Oct. 22.
