President Trump has welcomed Hyundai Motor Group and Aptiv's joint venture.
In a tweet, the U.S. leader called the four billion-dollar partnership "BIG NEWS," saying great jobs are coming back to America.
Hyundai Motor Group and Aptiv announced last week that they're joining forces to develop and commercialize autonomous vehicles.
Both parties will have a 50/50 share in the new company.
Hyundai Motor Group will invest a combined two billion dollars in the joint venture, which is slated to be established as early as next year in Boston.
