St Therese's Carmel communion

This shows the Carmelite nuns from St. Therese's convent in Lisieux, France receiving communion from Cardinal Jose Saraiva Martins, prefect emeritus of the Causes of the Saints. The chapel had just been reopened in May 2008 after renovation and the nuns' choir is now in front.
Cardinal Martins was in Lisieux for the beatification of Louis & Zelie Martins which took place on Sunday Oct. 19, 2008 in the basilica.
