Social media accounts spreading false news of citizenship awards are fake, say police

Bukit Aman CID D5 principal assistant director Senior Asst Comm Mior Faridalatrash Wahid told a press conference on Monday that preliminary investigations revealed the social media accounts spreading fake news regarding the award of citizenship to 200,000 foreigners are fake.
He said the accounts under the name Tengku Raja Alam Shah were deemed as fake.
