What a let down! Start line arch collapses at Croatian 10K run

Organisers of the Pulska Xica 10K night race in Croatia nearly had a non-starter on their hands when the inflatable arch through which competitors run at the beginning of the event collapsed.

Officials and participants were filmed on Saturday night (September 21) desperately trying to re-inflate the drooping arch and later attempting to hold it up so that runners to make their way underneath.

Eventually, the arch was inflated enough so that the event could get underway safely.
