This was the moment a US hiker spotted a wild chipmunk eating a mushroom in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado on August 20.

Footage shows the nonchalant rodent feast on the relatively large mushroom, while on a rock.

The filmer told Newsflare: "[I] saw a chipmunk eating a wild mushroom and lost my mind because it was so adorable and awesome."
