This is the amusing moment a policeman ordered two schoolboys to do star jumps after they were caught riding without helmets.
Onlooker Kumphon Darapong, 62, was enjoying his coffee when he saw the traffic officer stop the two schoolboys in front of the cafe in Trat, eastern Thailand.
Footage from Wednesday (September 12) afternoon shows how having frogmarched them on the pavement he sat on his scooter and chuckled as the lads in boy scout uniforms did 50-star jumps.
The officer then explained to them the importance of using helmets before letting them continue their ride home.
Kumphon, who is a lawyer, said that he agreed with the punishment from the traffic police.
He said: "Even though the punishment appeared to be soft, considering they are only schoolboys this might be the most appropriate way of dealing with it.
"I think that the boys would not have the money for the fine and it would be too harsh to charge them.''
