From January 2020, all GST invoices to be replaced via government prescribed e-Invoice

Come January 2020, all invoices of sales and purchase will be replaced via the government prescribed e-invoice pan-India. Sources tell CNBC-TV18 that goods and services tax (GST) council will deliberate on new format and system for issuing of e-invoice in their meeting on September 20th. Timsy Jaipuria has more details.
