The Lok Sabha Secretariat updated the details of parliament's standing committees for the newly constituted 17th Lok Sabha
BJP MPs Jayant Sinha and P P Choudhary will head the panels on finance and external affairs respectively. In the previous Lok Sabha, Congress' Veerappa Moily and Shashi Tharoor used to head the two committees.

,17वीं लोकसभा के लिए संसद की स्थायी समितियों का गठन हो गया है। इस बार बीजेपी को इसकी कमान मिली है। जबकि पिछली लोकसभा में इनकी अध्यक्षता कांग्रेस सांसदों के पास थी। पहली बार संसद भवन पहुंचीं बीजेपी सांसद प्रज्ञा सिंह ठाकुर और तृणमूल कांग्रेस की सांसद नुसरत जहां को अहम जिम्मेदारी दी गई है। नुसरत को जल संसाधन मामलों के लिए बनी संसदीय कमेटी का सदस्य बनाया गया है।बीजेपी सांसद संजय जायसवाल कमेटी के अध्यक्ष होंगे।
