Dara Shikoh: A Hero Of Indian Syncretist Traditions

RSS functionary Krishna Gopal hailed Dara Shikoh as an epitome of Indianness. Shikoh was the eldest son of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Gopal said that if Dara Shikoh ruled in place of Aurangzeb, Islam could have flourished in India.
